There were a few restaurants and cafes minutes away from the posada, in addition to a mini mart and a 7-Eleven steps away for beer, liquor, soda, snacks, etc. We found it very easy to navigate the app and loved the fact that we were able to choose our own room.
The food and drink at the hotel is all delicious, although we quickly learned that eating and drinking on the beach does get expensive, so we chose wisely when/how much we ate at the hotel. Since you're looking for a hotel I'd stay here again. My 'reservations' reflect my own priorities, which might not be yours.

Our room had no cabinets, dressers, shelves, so storage/unpacking was a challenge.

Very chic, new and modern hotel in the newly Aldea Zama neighborhood which is a modern mix where tropical and city meet. My family and I would definitely recommend Alaya to anyone visiting Tulum and we will definitely be staying here again when we return in the future. You cannot get drinks from the bars at the Akumal and Tulum sites although bars in some places didnt seem to mind.
If your looking for a upscale vibe in a newer section this is the place you want to be. Not only will you be learning from some of the most experienced cooks and chefs that have mastered local techniques, but you will also be doing it in a fun and exciting way that no other tourist gets to experience.
Remove most of the skin along with the stem. The bars - They do have branded spirits so just be sure to specify what you want.

My partner and I had a pool facing room (Room 6) with a hammock swing porch. We loved the treats left on our pillows each day.
Warm and beautiful Mexican-style hotel, the balcony is the swimming pool, next to the restaurant.
The one next to family pool ( which we used most of the time) always has same variations every day. I want to especially thank Ricardo and Luis, who were the most attentive and friendly waiters, whom we saw every day at the beach club. Many guests care about the quality of the rooms they stay in and want to ensure that their rooms have fresh, clean air. Not even real shredded cheese.
Booking process was very easy via grand bahia app. After looking at many options for lodging in Tulum, my travel group opted for something beachfront.
Entering the lobby, it seems to enter the original jungle, in addition to the wonderful and mysterious, must be 21 years old to stay, the room has no net, no electricity, candles night, the water pipes are filtered seawater, can only use 🥥 coconut Scoop, if you need service, write a good note into the ball, the little fun in the original 🤪 the scenery naturally needless to say, very beautiful! It amounted to about $280 that they kept! Shallow waters mean the kids can enjoy snorkelling too and as a parent it felt safe. I have also stayed at Dreams Tulum, which is wonderful for a resort, but its far from anything else. Limited parking is available onsite.Make yourself at home in one of the 16 air-conditioned guestrooms. Thanks again!

It was my birthday and they welcomed me (in the room) with a happy birthday banner and towel cake (super cute and thoughtful). For an example, I had to call 4 times to order more water for our room for the mini bar. The rooms always smell good and the staff they all are amazing, helpful and sweet!

Everything is like in the pictures and works good. Also, there is a huge supermarket when you cross the street. Wish Tulum has one, and it's nice.
Perfect stay to be in downtown Tulum and a bang for your buck. Most importantly, the tequila store and the artists attracted on the spot are great! What ensued after that was just pure chaos.
Some rooms have sea and garden views. are all popular hotels to stay at. I cant complain about anything here. I served it with a spoon in it so that people could drizzle it on the chip they had dipped into the spicier salsa, to take a bit of the power out of the spice. Conveniences include safes and fans, and housekeeping is provided daily.
Youre walking through sand to get to your room and yes, theres a bucket of water to rinse before entering however we were desperate for a small outdoor rug or just something at either the sides or foot of the bed to brush off sand before getting in bed. From Jose to Felipe and all above they are so beautifully friendly. The drive to our resort was so long!!! It is enough to come once Its just a hotel that is more suitable for taking pictures! Thank you again to all of the amazing staff! Both rooms were clean, with comfortable beds.

Now for the food, I didn't enjoy many of the a la carte's but the buffet was usually pretty good. 1. the beach for Coba guests is attached to the Akumal site and has its own dedicated beach bar for Coba guests. Closed: None
Staff was very friendly and would always greet you with a smile and an Hola. Would definitely recommend Punta Piedra Beach Posada to anyone looking for a place to stay in Tulum. Hotel personnel are working very hard and for the most part make you feel welcomed. You wake to a cute basket with coffee each morning and they will refill your drinking water as much as you need it in the room.

The hotels, including Hotelito Azul, do their best to remove as much seaweed from the beach as possible, but man, is it an uphill battle. Hard to describe like a sour salty rotting stink. These hotels are also priced inexpensively. He knew our favorite drinks and what we do and dont eat and made sure we had everything we needed every day at the beach. With Naj Naay Spa, Cenote Kape-Ha and Oko Spa Mayan Healing Portal all within a short distance, there is no shortage of things to do in the area.

This hotel is within the vicinity of Las Palmas Public Beach and Playa Paraiso. I would say 10 minutes because we would drive very slow due to the roads. Hours: People who arent into spicy foods will appreciate this option. We ended up paying additional $200 to get private transportation in order to get to the airport. I wouldnt recommend to drive late at night since it may be a little too hard to see. It is good because the ADO terminal and downtown are close. Oh and they would set new towels for us as well.

It was literally warm! For those driving themselves, parking is provided on site. Unfortunately, our private pool got dirty from the rain, but she quickly cleaned it and was ready in a few hours. There is a 24/7 food truck option to order food any time of the day or night. Our manager gave us tips and offered to help schedule restaurant reservations or beach reservations in the popular Tulum area which is by the beach. There were slimy strings of pure fat that were attached to the meat. For starters the hotel is located in a new section of Tulum thats heavily under construction.
It seemed like every night, the hotel had a movie night out by the pool which was a nice addition.

Tulum Archeological Site is 18 km from La Zebra by Colibri Boutique Hotel, while Cesiak is 7 km away.
All in all, we loved our stay at this hotel and look forward to returning in the future! The feel of our room was very luxurious. Pools are clean and maintained well.
We ate our lunch right on the beach and wouldnt change a thing about it. Slice the red onion as thinly as you can and put it into a bowl or jar. My guess is that its a municipal service doing this.
Bathroom is really small. Here you can learn the local cuisine and secrets for cooking it. Hotel rates change often; this price is for reference only. As already mentioned, there is a pool on the roof with enough loungers and sanitary facilities. The room was cleaned daily, water supplied daily and small refreshment were delivered nightly.
