A wonderful time was had by all. The Chalfonte has found a great balance between flawlessly running a large event, while allowing you the space to design your evening. The appetizers were delicious, as were the entrees. She coordinated with our vendors and seamlessly arranged for the ceremony to be inside at last minute due to rain. The staff had ONE hour to clean up a previous reception and set up ours. Thanks again Chalfonte, we'll be back! When it came time for cocktail hour to end, there was another moment of mass confusion. Many happy days to you. The staff was attentive and great. She is truly amazing. You gave us our dream wedding! She was so wonderful to work with, from our very first email/phone conversation all the way up until the wedding weekend!

Terry was extremely helpful throughout the whole process and took care of details like ordering special wine to accompany dinner and having the servers pass out chocolate covered strawberries after the cake was cut. We hope to se your family and friends again soon. Terry was very helpful at creating the balance between letting me be the DIY bride I longed to be, and taking responsibility when I needed help. As a reception venue, we could not have asked for a better combination of food and service. We choose only the passed hors d'oeuvres in 8 types, all great. It felt like we were the only wedding even though there was one on Friday. I could live on the wrap around porch. I can't wrap this up without mentioning the food. I wish them the best! To be part of the happiest day in so many couples lives is a wonderful experience. It's such a beautiful setting. I can't say enough about how perfect it was for us though. My daughter always wanted to get married in Cape May. There are so many tough decisions when youre wedding planning, but finding a venue in Cape May doesnt have to be one of themchoose the Chalfonte and you can rest assured knowing youre in the best of hands. From the start, coordinating with Terry was easy; she was patient with all of my questions and laying out our options, and she/ the hotel were very accommodating for special and unique requests we had Our wedding day will forever be one of our favorite memories! Once wedding week came, the Chalfonte staff went above and beyond to make our friends, family, and us feel extremely welcome. The Chalfonte was perfect in every way. Terry was wonderful to work with and she was incredibly responsive and helpful in answering our questions. You're given time and attention. The food and service was exceptional.

There are many churches within walking distance and all of the local vendors we utilized for the wedding were also professional and easy to work with. In addition to the great service to the location is beautiful. The hotel is beautiful and we felt it really gave our guests the feel of historic cape May. I cant tell you how much I appreciated the fantastic Wedding reception and the stay for all my guests at your hotel. Terry was super attentive and quick about answering questions and providing information throughout the planning process. We had about 90 guests, and most stayed at the hotel with us, which made for a very cozy atmosphere. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day! Highly recommend Terry and the Chalfonte. Our guests had a blast. The Chalfonte Hotel is Magical! My husband and I have been married a week and thanks to Terry and the staff at the Chalfonte we had our dream wedding. There was more than enough food and drinks all evening. She is a true professional that knows what couples need and expect for their special day. As an event planner myself, it was difficult for me to release control of setting everything up but Terry assured me that they would take care of everything and they certainly did!!! We had an amazing time, look forward to going back next summer, and cannot recommend Terry and the Chalfonte enough. The Chalfonte Hotel is an idyllic location for anyone who enjoys the quaint, victorian style of Cape May with a historic southern twist. She patiently met with us 1:1 several times over the months leading up to the ceremony, giving us walk-throughs, tastings, and providing consistently prompt and professional responsiveness to our emailed questions, too. There is already a reunion trip being planned for next year. This is where history meets present day decor! It's not for everyone, but for us it couldn't have been more perfect. It is a charming hotel that will have your guests raving even after the wedding! I live abroad and had to schedule appointments around my trips to the States in the months leading up to the wedding. Our wedding was the first of 2016. The Chalfonte is really a top notch venue- not your average country club or banquet hall! The Chalfonte itself is endlessly photogenic and we are in love with the photos from that beautiful day. Terry and her team were incredibly knowledgeable, accommodating. From our arrival on Wednesday through our departure on Sunday we made some of the happiest memories of our new life together, and for that we will be eternally grateful. We were able to have everything outside and it was beautiful!! It was absolutely perfect- I would not have changed a thing. We are looking forward to your wedding day! There was honestly not one thing wrong about the whole day. To start - the hotel is beautiful, unique and has an old- time charm that is quintessential Cape May. There was a passing shower the morning of our wedding, but the grass dried in time. I could not have asked for a better wedding coordinator or team to work with than the staff from the Chalfonte.
