I love my Malm. I am overall satisfied. This high chest gives you plenty of storage without taking up too much room. Ikea sells a glass top Walnut brown, good condition with some staining on bottom of drawers. It fits perfectly in a small space, but still provides lots of storage space. It was very very affordable/ great value, and looked pretty modern and chic. 
I'm wouldn't describe myself as a handy-woman, I'm just of average skill when it comes to assembling furniture however I was relatively easily able to but these chests together following the enclosed instructions given in the flat pack. 
The dressers themselves are sturdy but the drawers are not of the same quality. 4 drawer dresser. The beds come in standard sizing (single, double/full, queen and king).

They are well manufactured, sturdy and heavy duty, a perfect fit for my boys who, lets be honest, rather resemble a bull in a china shop! I would buy any furniture I need for my home now from Ikea as we have found them to be well manufactures, easy to assymble and a great value. The first 4 drawer chest I bought was broken, however. Disappointing and troubling to return the heavy object, but the return went smoothly and the item was replaced. I purchased the brown black finish which seems to go with any dark wood furniture. I personally use it for socks, underwear, etc., and the top part is great to keep jewelry and other small items. Dimensions and function were the same it was just a lighter shade, not too big of a deal I suppose considering that it has been several years between purchases that that is a reality things in general.

I purchased two of these 6-drawer chests for each of my kids rooms. When you pair handles with Styl-Panels, nobody will guess that your divine chest started its life as flat-pack furniture. The chests themselves are of decent quality. 
Tehy even came with brackets to attach them to the wall so that they can not be turned over easily if someone was to climb up the front.

The only point of assembling in which I struggled a little bit was getting the drawers into position but I think on reflection, I wasn't positioning them correctly. Something else to love: Malm beds come with the option of rolling under-bed storage drawers. Tipping accidents have resulted in serious or fatal injuries, so this step is not one to skip. I won't describe my Malm 6 drawer dresser because the reviewer before me did a FABULOUS job! They make what we do possible. Clean and ready for pick-up only, located in the Elmvale area. I would highly recommend this piece to anyone! We originally bought it for our daughter's room when she was born to hold all of her baby clothes, but once we got her something bigger it went straight into our bedroom! Installation was pretty easy did take a little over an hour to assemble the first time around, as long as you have 2 people. Increase the search radius for more results. The IKEA Malm series also includes beds. I was looking for size and quality and this item wasmost superior for the price.. It is in excellent condition with the matching glass top. The boxes it came in were pretty heavy so that is something to consider before going out and buying it.

The side that comes with the roller guides attached was cracked in two through the middle. All just under 3 years old and all in great condition. (*one small scratch on the side) ONE Two Malm drawer chest. Two small drawers are 2.5" deep (interior) and the four lower drawers are 7" deep. Keep in mind that Malm drawer fronts are thicker than standard cabinets.
