Axe throwing was fun (although its time to replace those splintered handles) and the kids loved the bull riding experience. Becoming a member makes it worth going because there is a lot of perks as far as free play, free food, free nights at their bear lodge. Ive never seen anything like it, and its definitely worth the stop. They make it so easy to get all your luggage to and from the Canyon as you ride the train. Happy camping!! She also did not try to solve the problem for the luggages, and instead the driver Armi was running around solving the issue for us. Most of the hikes are very clearly marked and dont need special footwear. Each of the two trails at the Palatki Heritage Center is just 1/4 of a mile each way so you can easily visit the ruins without expending too much energy or walking too far. One of the impressive geological areas in Death Valley with stunning views. Best in the morning or evening. Driving from Yosemite National Park to Grand Canyon National Park should take you 12 hrs 15 mins in normal traffic. This was the highlight of the park for me, without a doubt. The thermometer was easily accessible from the freeway. Beach, mountains, huge trees, deserteverything is a couple hours away. Regardless, what you get to see speaks for itself. Well kept facilities and gorgeous views. We decided to take the iconic route 66 from Vegas all the way to the Grand Canyon and what a journey it was. Recently visited Alabama hills and loved the place. Antelope Canyon has capacity limitations and depending on group size the entrances must be staggered, because of this the whole group does not enter together by design. Oh the cell reception here was really spotty for AT&T so I recommend paying attention to your phone if you plan on staying overnight. Free valet and self parking are available, and there's also limo/town car service. This place is awesome! - we did not do the cruise on lake Powell nor visit Zion park for a walk along virgin river as planned. This is the biggest tree in the WORLD!. The staff treated us so kindly. Easy to drive through without getting lost and I hope to return one day to camp just for one night. I got to see their Christmas light display on their city hall, and it was a bunch of amazing lights set to music. Truly awesome walk through film history in the Lone Pine area. The train depot workers were so nice and made the whole experience easy. Youll be blown away from its sheer grandiosity.
Cottonwood is a city in Yavapai County, Arizona, United States. Death Valley visitors who are in a hurry quite often dont make the time for it, but I found the crater fascinating. Youll be greeted by beautiful views of the Great Western Divide and the western part of the park. The night life is pretty active and lots of entertainment. We got a lesson of history of route 66 and Delgadillo's family. There is a nice little gift store with some cool unique souvenirs. To the east, Tuzigoot National Monument preserves an ancient hilltop pueblo. Yep, $4 for all three. The room was really clean and spotless, it's more than expected for an older hotel. You can see Sequoias here and even can walk through a hollow tree. Might have to save up for the suite they have down there. The rock formations are so much larger in person. People in this shop are awesome Food is really good. I love that they have an area with picnic tables and allow you to bring in food of your own. Decently priced especially considering the money supports animal rehab. Love this place. Jerome State Historic Park is home to Douglas Mansion, built in 1916 by a mining magnate. 
The General Sherman Tree is the largest tree in the world. I would recommend to everyone! Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experiences start time will not be accepted. It's home to the Route 66 Zipline and Pete's Route 66 Gas Station Museum, featuring highway memorabilia. There are plenty! We came in January and were still able to at least see all of the animals. The trail is 0.5 miles each way, 1 mile round trip, and is fairly easy as long as there hasnt been a recent super-heavy snow, in which case you might need snowshoes. . Spent two days here with the family and could have easily spent more time lying in the forest with the trees. Yeah gas is $4.99 but at least there is gas. Its known as a base for trails in the nearby desert and water sports on Lake Havasu. You might think about doing the Mesquite Sand Dunes now, considering youre going to pass right by it, but wed recommend waiting until sunset, which is a far better time to be out there, when the dramatic shadows bring out the texture of the sand, and the golden light illuminates the dunes in a deep orange color. Totally worth going if you get the time. - Jacob did not communicate changes to itinerary and was often unclear on tour/stopover instructions. Best way to experience the Grand Canyon! We took the opposite direction on the loop and it was nice having folks pass us in the opposite direction rather than following or being followed. Attractions include a cruise on San Francisco Bay, and an evening tour of the Las Vegas Strip. Continental breakfast is included and there will be several options to choose from for all other meals during the tour (at own expense.).
