There is a good restroom, with running water. Its in a converted, old warehouse, next to the train tracks, which gives you perspective of what the town may have looked like 100 years ago, when it was a major mining hub. What I liked was that the area has not been ruined by phony gift and antique shops cashing in on the tourist crowd. Good thing Sonic was right next door. This is a wonderful place to visit. My sister-in-law and I came here to spend the day for her birthday celebration and had a ball!We just parked the truck and walked all over town on foot. It is great for a girls getaway or a romantic weekend with your honey! So quiet, beautiful rooms, lovely little patio for evenings or mornings. We are so grateful that this historic miner's hotel has been brought to life with so many beautiful details. One of the clothing stores had a very nice selection however, the prices were a little much. There was no coffee and no other drink options. Breakfasts are delicious and I thought the elegant dining room and smaller but charming and light-filled breakfast room (breakfasts are lovely as are the bricked patios and balconies and sitting room with a fireplace. My wife was looking at the pillows on the bed and noticed one with a grease stain. Maybe they just don't expect many people on a 100+ degree day. From the time we arrived (greeted by Holly the very sweet calm natured coowner)To settling into our room(the torquise room) everything was pleasant from the bed to the bathroom down to the coosh towels. Wine on the walk through terrace at sun down and walking distance to a 100 yr old bar. Simple yet wonderfully detailed rooms. We really felt welcome to explore the place, get ice from the refrigerator, use the wine glasses, etc. Dust ruffle on bed, shower curtain, carpet has many stains. has some great views of the Salt River and you can go right down to the water. I have stayed at several hotels in Globe and this is the best hotel in this class. Really bad smell. You will need to buy breakfast elsewhere because the breakfast is pitiful. Maybe in fall or winter to enjoy one of the fire places.
