Which is an unbelievably juvenile approach to an upset customer reporting valid problems with product. I'm ususally not a big fan of citrusy, fresh fragrances but I love Versense. Simply love Versense, and I do not love many fresh citrus perfumes. Verse se is a bit fruitier in the brief opening- think its the pear. I love the bottle, so beautiful. There are plenty of much cheaper fragrances that are much stronger, nicer and longer-lasting than this, I recommend not to buy this and save your money on something better. This amazing juice is uplifting, bright, crisp, clean, calming and sensuous. You certainly smelled it in a dozen other perfumes before. I disagree with the ratings here - I think this could easily go from day to night. Slightly masculine. When I first sprayed this, my eyes literally crossed it smells that good. I love it when I walk the dog, go to the grocery store, or after the gymit is a versatile scent and reminds me of spring because it is simple and fresh and has a sweet and not sharp zing that is always uplifting. This is well made and initially reminds me of a higher end Be Delicious or Adidas Pure Lightness (which I love). The bergamot smacks you in the face along with that ginger after one spray. Nice to have in one's collection because it is versatile. Fresh, green perfumes arent my go-to scents but I see myself using this one a lot, especially when I will go back to the office. I find Versense offers some refreshing relief in the summer when the temperatures rise and the humidity is oppressive. Nice for everyday use but nothing exceptional. Though I do not see it listed, all I smell is a huge burst of green apple. - Product advertisement. The taste is much better, crispier and spicier then lemons. Thought I would love this reading the notes but the florals kill it for me. Immediately, you catch a very strong and energetic citrusy scent that lasts for quite some time. This is a great dupe for Chance Eau Fraiche at a fraction of the price, so if you have a tight budget, Id say buy this instead, its great stuff. a very bright, crisp wave of citrus (and what i'm learning is fig).

Yes, I could fault them for a great many things, but accidentally introducing me to Versace's Versense, is not one of them. Its shocking to me that this is discontinued. after the citruses subside, the woodiness really starts to shine through. Definitely unisex. After I got past the sharp citrus opening, the dry down was quite lovely, just a very soft fresh floral. Versense is a great fresh scent!

Very clean, light and happy. No mustiness here. Sprayed about 3 sprays on my neck this morning, went to work, had a full day & came home and even showered and STILL smell (faint) whiffs here and there. Notes I really like that were able to mellow out any sharpness. Most gourmands and heavy fragrances get especially cloying on me and make me feel sick. Blast of bergamot and pomelo, so fresh and juicy I can taste the pulps. A blind buy and an absolutely successful one :) This is going to the vacation destination with me this summer :). I couldn't agree more with all the very positive reviews - no need to add more paragraphs because I think everyone has done a great job on Versense. It is not discontinued, I saw it today at Douglas in Germany. In our hot, humid climate it's a winner. Love it! Versace makes very 'perfumey' fragrances. I can't detect the individual floral notes but combined with the cardamom and woody notes in the base they work so well. On me, and to my nose, Versense smells fresh, woody and spicy. Chance Eau Fraiche is a pretty unique scent, in my opinion: it's a citrusy chypre (not in an sharp way, it's almost bitter but round if I'm making sense), it's woody, it's musky and slightly floral. i wanted SO badly to like this. Fresh and zesty, although I wouldn't classify the zestyness here particularly citrusy. Little bit zesty on the opening, but then it is just gorgeous. I like the fact this doesnt take neither vanilla nor patchouli in its composition. I saw a u-tuber talk about it, blind bought it, fell in love with it. It suits best during spring/summer season. This scent nevertheless is simple, clean, neutral, almost minimalistic, good for those days you dont know what to wear or for warmer days. This was a mostly-blind buy, small bottle on sale for $20. It is zesty with a bit of green notes and florals.

I live in a hot, humid climate (New Orleans) and can tell you that Versense has prompted more compliments from people than anything I have worn, ever. So beautiful and elegant, a refreshing green perfume with Mediterranean character. I think this fragrance reads very soft, but lingers longer than a person imagines. Upon first spray, it really reminds me of vietnamese sugar cane juice, which heavily features kumquat. For this purpose, I've used florals such as Chloe Chloe and Premier Jour by Nina Ricci, but I need a citrus fragrance that reminds me of the smell of a lemonade or a refreshing tea! If someone wants to trade or something, please let me know?? It's a weak scent that doesn't project well. Its a bit sharp the first few minutes, but that softens quickly. I love citruses and figs but there is too much of them in here.

Using this for the first time in 2022 - this is my second review for Versense. It layers very well with the lotion if you can find it. After a couple hours, out comes the jasmine and white musk. It is a pleasant and uplifting zesty goodness in the opening with understated floral and woody notes in the dry down. Great juice, very clean,long lasting and compliments getter. There was no citrus, just some unrecognized note that I can only describe as "dry", cloying and choking. It then hovers between the fig and what I think must be the olive tree, in a beautiful creamy, green halo. The problem is that it doesnt last AT ALL. also, this is worth the money.

Versace outdid themselves with this one. At one point I will buy a very fresh fragrance, especially to use it in the hot summer days. That quickly fades into soft florals. Although I don't think it is similar to Chance Eau Fraiche I like to use it as its counterpart in summer. Moreover, it is cheaper, and you cant smell it on everybody. That's Versense. But absolutely zero awful patchouli. I can feel fig and pear a lot. I bought me a very small bottle. It is that damn good. Great for just running errands or being at home. Two I had, the citrus was too mucb and didnt work with my skin, as citrus dominant scents tend to do with me. I own both and to me They smell very differently. I love it, I miss it, I want it. + lilac flower (variety that has bigger flowers) + trace of violet?. Perfect. The new eau de toilette is accompanied with a 200 ml perfumed bath, 200 ml perfumed body milk and 75 ml deo spray. I didn't buy Versence until it was discontinued, and now I need to hurry up and buy a back-up before it goes the way of the Dodo. It got some floral nuances that the male version lacks, but it gives it a little more dept and personality. That is much more distinctive than this. I tried this fragrance at the perfume store the other day, this is a very light fragrance, while the light citrus notes were nice but it's too subtle I can barely smell it and its longevity is very weak, only lasted less than an hour on my skin.
