I would imagine that is because you have partitions enabled or at least have the partition display enabled.
The 6160 RF is larger to accommodate the electronics associated with the larger, more complex display.
Any ideas? Have you taken the keypad apart and checked the part number inside?
The process of changing out the keypad was so easy..I just turned off the power to the keypad and literlaly changed it, started it up again and it worked great!

Unfortunately, something failed in our unit that caused it to loose communications with all the sensors, even though it still worked for displaying messages and turning the system on and off, etc. Problem solved! The Honeywell 5881ENH is a wireless alarm receiver that can support an unlimited number of wireless zones.
I thought it would be an easy fix, but you need to register the serial number on the control pad, and my control pad was not user friendly (6150rf). Just enter "16" for the keypad address?

When you're going through the setup of the 6160RF, do you see the House ID = Prompt?

Based on what I've read overnight and today, I don't need to enter anything for Receiver Address or House ID (given that I will be using only wireless sensors)? Needed to add some wireless zones in areas were I could not get wire.
Just wish there was an option to arm the system with no exit or entry delay so that my wife could arm it instantly when she's home alone. To enable the receiver, power the keypad down and back up, and within 60 seconds, press and hold down the 1 and 3 keys until the display shows CON ADDRESS = ??

All devices on the ECP bus usually require a unique address, except on a Vista 20P . All of those other settings are for if you are adding things like 2-way devices (like a cordless keypad), or if you were using the keypad on a system that normally doesn't handle wireless devices. No such luck on the 6160RF though. Assuming you're following the steps above quickly enough, as soon as you enter your keypad address, then press *, you should see Receiver Enable?.
All the wired zones work, the keypad is fully functional, no codes and also no zones showing tripped even when I trip the wireless ones that are enabled (zone 20 and 21).
When I plug/unplug the keypad and go though the prompts quickly I dont get the house ID prompt.

If you have RF devices that are working, such as doors and motions, but keyfobs that are not working even though all the programming is correct, this is likely the culprit, and I would suggest turning this feature off. AlarmLiquidators.com1201 Centre St.

Has this keypad ever worked on an alarm system at any address? I won't need any wired zones as everything is going to be wireless. My understanding is that I can connect a 2k resistor across each zone connection to get rid of this? All wireless receivers connect to the panel via the ECP bus. Entering the serial number was also very easy due to a quick search on the net. :).
