I have a brand new bottle and I don't get the hype yet. I like licorice in other scents, but in this one it really does not do it for me. It also smelled a little bit synthetic. Pink Sugar is girly, flirty, and sweet however not too childish. to me this is something a 5 year old would wear; it's childish in the worst way possible. Personally this isn't my style, however my more peppy friend fits it perfectly. What I appreciate about this scent is that it actually smells like sugar, sweets and cake, and isn't super artificial smelling. A sweet caramel bomb, that could be placed in the oriental gourmand category. I found the opening nauseating and never even got to the drydown. Love pink sugar definitely one of my favorites in my collection, definitely good for layering. body secret pink mist victoria gift I kept using it though to see if my opinion changed. Well done in this sense. I dont find it to be cloying or overwhelming. The tonka, caramel, vanilla and cotton candy come out with some warmth. It just smells so freaking good. Its also unlike any other perfume Ive smelled before. its a very sweet and girly scent (not fruity sweet which I appreciate) on first sniff it was like rich cake batter, the vanilla comes through really well without being sickly. That burnt smokey note makes it mature and not very feminine. I don't smell much vanilla but I can say that it's more of a prominent cotton-candy with the side of other faint notes that doesn't make this a heartache of a scent. This is one of those scents I would wear on a summer day so I can feel like caramel and sweetness, yet there are always better perfumes in my collection that Id wear more. Don't be put off by the words cotton candy.

I remember when I was a kid and kept going to the mall to smell this. The bottle is the cutest. it smells identical to those ugly little bottles of hello kitty perfume you get as a kid that you don't like but you spray anyway because you have nothing better to do. I wear this for casual playdates as it is a fragrance not to be taken too seriously. I smelt heavy candyfloss and literal sugar. Also, according to many reviews, I expected it to be "girly", immature almostthe first thing I thought when I smelled it for the first time was that it's more for older women as the licorice felt quite heavy. It's quite nice but definitely more mature than I was expecting. First thing you smell is the most intense licorice scent with also sweets but mainly black licorice. Its one of my go to. It is super sweet but somehow not disgustingly so? I have to be in a specifically sweet mood for it, but when I wear it, whew, it projects! I was expecting a fun, simple but deliciously sweet perfume that would smell like real edible caramel, cookies and whatnot. Yes, it's sickly. To me this smells like the lovechild of Lolitaland and Burberry Her. This will always be apart of my collection for sure. This was my first and I dare say last blind buy. In my mind, it's made for cold weather, chunky sweaters and cozy indoor activities. Tell me why I can only smell the freaking liquorice . I cant wear either of those in public for different reasons - one is too synthetic, sugary, juvenile and somewhat cloying, the other one a bit mature, sweet and peppery - fitting a dark sensual lady on more traditional dinner event but not quite suitable for going to the club. I was given this perfume as a gift, and at first I didn't really care for it.

Perhaps because the cotton candy immediately monopolizes the nose, but it has that fruity facet, that practically sticks together with the caramel. I was swayed by the good reviews and the 100 ml was sold for a laughable price. I hadn't smelled it for a while and I smelled it recently and it doesn't have that same appeal to me as it used to. I like it a lot and its a steal for the price. i wish this fragrance worked with my skin, i was feeling all the vibes. It does smell a bit powdery at first on my skin, but after 30 minutes or so the powdery note disappears and it becomes so beautiful, sweet, sexy and comfortable scent. I'm more of a clean, floral, semi-powdery, semi-fruity girl. this was one of the first perfumes i bought to start off my perfume collection in march 2021. i liked that it seemed so divisive and i knew that if i liked it i would love it so i bought the 100ml blindly. Yes, it's indeed kind of juvenile, but personally I don't care about this, I just wear whatever I like. I smelled the body mist at a discount perfume counter some years ago and even my adolescent Ariana Grande loving self gagged at the cavity inducing sweetness. Try it now and thank me later. Smells like strawberry candy in a non juvenile way. :). this fragrance is lowkey a toothache but if youre into gourmands this should be right up your ally. As It settled Pink Sugar lost that medicinal note & developed into a sweet, powdery-vanilla skin-scent. I smell a little bit of Angel but it was too geil for my nose. If you like smelling like dessert with a little spice, musk, etc, this is it! I got this today, first 10 or so sprays were a disgusting plastic sweet burnt caramel scent that was nauseating. If you are an extreme gourmand lover this is for you. My boyfriend prefers this on me over my most expensive perfumes. I love how they smell together and I just want to keep sniffing my skin and clothes. But now I LOVE it. if you find this to be too sickly sweet but still appreciate the scent, i'd definitely suggest investing in the incense. It reminds me of a more subdued Cloud or even Burberry Her minus that weird ground up Flinstones Chewable Vitamins vibe. I originally rated this as a like, but I didn't have any strong feelings about it, and I could have just as easily rated this as okay. Smells like licorice or toilet scent. she is literally GIVING and powerful but not cloying at all! Its a little too plain on its own, but it has great projection and longevity. If this had better packaging, a better name and was behind a name brand it would be so popular among men and women. I have to spray this like a body spray even with my whole layering process. I always spray this perfume in the air and sniff it , smells like sugary, chemically melting plastic and a little bit of cotton candy when it dries down. Candy for flowers. I have owned this since it 1st came out if you love to smell sweet & irresistible you need this I literally constantly sniff myself when I have this on.. I cannot go wrong with this, I thought. My only complaint is that it can become sickeningly sweet at times and makes me feel queasy if I accidentally overspray (which is relatively easy to do). I used to hate this. It smells good to me. The receptionist at my job wears this; it suits her personality well This is good for all year round but it especially works great for colder weather. Also the citrus in the opener fades which I love! The people who don't like this scent get thrown back by the liquorice and its burnt smell. It is an easy reach for sweet scent lovers like me. It should be called Pink Licorice, not Pink Sugar.

Not good to my nose. It's nothing like it was in the cooler weather. It is a really great perfume to add some sweetness to another perfume, it layers really well and I like to wear it on my clothes bc it's cheap and last really well on fabric.

I have a ton of fragrances but yet there is still something amazing about this one that I cant get enough of. I'm assuming the burn sugar scent is just the licorice and caramel being emphasized to the point of being nauseating, but I have 0 clue why tf this makes me smell like soap. It's very sexy and long wearing. I had this in highschool and still wear it today because I still get compliments and people stopping me to ask what I'm wearing. Caramel, vanilla, burnt sugar, veeeery faint licorice that goes away in minutes, cant identify any fruits whatsoever. It is a hardcore No. I've avoided Pink Sugar for so long. Yikes, I hate the burnt sugar licorice smell. I adore this scent, my mom bought it for me in the beginning of 8th grade after I begged her relentlessly. Smells like pink cupcake sprinkles. I wish I hadnt blind bought this! One of the most delicious scent trails I've ever smelled. Everyone's dying their hair in Manic panic (not just the cool people that can rock those colors). It eventually ran out (very quickly due to overspraying lol) and I never found it at Claires again as it was discontinued. There's one singular thing that makes me hate it and I can't put my nose on it. But now that I'm older I love and appreciate her all the more than I once did. This is very long lasting for an edt. Burnt caramel and cotton candy scent. I had to get rid of it because I knew Id never wear it anyway. How glad I am that I ordered the smallest bottle. I grew to despise this scent as time went on. Its unfortunate because this fragrance actually has moderate longevity and silage for its price but I wish they toned down the liquorice or removed it altogether. who can not like this scent? Ill have to pass on this because it gave me a headache.

Apart from that small unpleasant detail, I think Pink Sugar is a very nice and cheap perfume for teenagers or even young adults. Maybe we do really have different olfactory and different body chemistry. Although admittedly a bit immature, I actually really enjoy Pink Sugar! It's sugary sweet, but the licorice and musk give this an extra dimension that makes it appealing to my nose. I picked up what was the cotton candy but in a synthetic, sickly note. Its really long lasting as well, I sprayed it on my wrist in the afternoon and it survived a shower and a night's sleep - it was still there in the morning. Ive never tried layering it with other perfumes but I do occasionally wear the pink sugar hair perfume when Im wearing other perfumes and it pairs nicely! It's so sweet and girly and oddly fresh somehow. This is like my personal brand of herione its a sugary scent but not too much. super strong and low key nauseating but addictive.

The lastingpower is awesome, good price. Very sweet, candy gourmand juice. Interesting perfume, but too much for me to wear. As the dry-down begins, lip-smacking cotton candy (easily my favorite part) starts to peek through breezy waves of sandalwood; a total surprise, as I was envisioning some sort of hyper-juvenile fragrance, when its ultimately more complex than that. I was so excited for this to be a sugar bomb but all I smell is a peculiar mixture of licorice and powder? It smells like candy which is nice, but I find the scent to be a little too tangy. Not a slam-dunk for me, by any means (too cloying), but I can still appreciate its simple charms from afar. These days I don't smell the licorice at all in it.

It's like a super sweet licorice that sticks in my nose and just comes off as spicy sweet rather than candy sweet. It smells exactly like those German roasted almonds you can buy around the holidays- sweet, burnt sugar, cinnamon, and buttery praline. I agree that Pink Sugar is more complex and interesting than it is regarded to be, appropriate for every age in every season. Personally I don't believe there's a age limit for perfumes, I own some perfumes considered "old lady" and some that were literally made for children(I have a Winnie the Pooh perfume that constantly gets me compliments), random people won't know the differenceso wear what makes YOU happy and feel beautiful, and this perfume is a very beautiful and happy scent . Now that Im 24, I personally thought this scent was a bit too juvenile for me. Really. I like this. And it's so affordable. To me, this smells like youve just baked something. Really, this is just great. Equivalent of eating white sugar. And I didn't like it at all, it smelled weird and not even sweet to me, sold it right away basically. The comments have brought it to my attention, Pink Sugar is a nauseously sweet but my mind can't ignore the BURNT essence and the pepper? I wonder if this gets sweeter with age. It can pull a little powdery on me, which I'm not usually a fan of but this just works. I was a little skeptical at first, but after using it several times, I really like the scent. Im 33 now and this is still one of my favorites and hands down my most complimented fragrance! Its long lasting, the silage is great, and its a good quality blend that is really affordable these days. It's cute but not sexy. but it could also possibly be the cotton candy that is nauseating. The tester I was trying were somewhat different. Fragrantica Inc, United States, i recently purchased this based on many peoples comments regarding the sweet scent! I use it once in a while for the nostalgia, or I layer it with scents that need a dose of sweetness. I get that burnt dark note others have mentioned. Price is amazing I got this for 10 for a 50ml off Amazon! It is not appealing to me at all. So, I am smelling a heated, caramelized sugar it just reads as a baked good to my nose. perfect name, it has all the sweet girly hot pink fake feather scarf early 2000s candy shop sparkly lip gloss kitten heels and prom queen this year notes a fragrance could carry. I loved this perfume when it came out! Can you ever go wrong with pink sugar? At least for those born in the 90s. . Gives me a minor headache but I cant even be mad bc its so good to smell. I most often use it with the Pink Sugar body lotion that extends and deepens the already impressive longevity and strength, but I also layer it on occasion with Ciara, Cabochard, or Toujours Moi, with really nice results. Its goes to a more comforting vanilla sweet scent that wont give you a headache . When I was 13yo back in 2011, I bought a perfume from Claires called Angel Rocker. I dont know what happened but I sprayed again a couple hours ago and its a beautiful sugary sweet cotton candy/caramel fragrance. So it was technically a blind buy but I don't really mind. This is best candy floss fragrance in my opinion. It's so delicious! My boyfriend smells the good stuff but I sadly don't. It will always be a nostalgic scent, but I can't wear it anymore now that I'm older. At first, I tried it because of a friend's recommendation. 9/10 will repurchase. It's super gourmand and it smells absolutely fantastic! I blind bought this and I originally enjoyed it at first but now I dont really like it anymore. HOWEVER, if u wanna smell like that one beautiful candy shop from downtown that has custom candy you can make your own with heavy notes of a warm cotton candy, this is ur best bet! I have been wearing this off and on (mostly on) since I was 18. The PERFECT scent to layer with Bare Vanilla by VS. Caramel and sugar are what I get from this perfume. On me I get the cotton candy note, bur not a whole lot, I get more of the sweet creamy caramel and vanilla which is absolutely delicious! OMG, I'm in love!! However, in moderation this scent is actually quite nice and cozy. Sweet, spicy (due to the licorice) caramel. so good get this!!!!! Pink Sugar is not pure unadulterated sugar (despite being the sweetest perfume I have ever smelled), but rather has a certain complexity that is greatly appreciated. Not much sweetness or caramel going. i still think it smells delicious, hate this, smells too much like licorice I dont get the nice sweet notes from it. Lasting power is amazing. I dont get cotton candy or caramel, but more like a baked butter sugar cookie, or a frosted cupcake that you took the time to make totally from scratch with a little spice or zest added. I really don't enjoy syrupy sweet gourmands and many would have you believe Pink Sugar is immature cotton candy in a bottle, but she's so much more than that. Okay. I haven't been more wrong in my life! It wasnt. Oh well, at least it was cheap-ish!

Worked great as a reminder why I try to avoind blind buying. Keeping it in my collection from now on.
