Worsley Park is also proud to have a 250-metre driving range, which is designed in line with USGA specifications. The greens were true but slow. Some tough par 3s for them card wreckers. The newly rebranded and refurbished restaurant Grill in the Park offers a contemporary dining experience offering the finest regional ingredients. The whole course was so well looked after.
We like to make it easy for our Members to enjoy and get the best from their golf and their Membership. Despite a slight hold up with groups Infront the round was absolutely excellent with perfect weather conditions. 48 very happy players with 20% of all drinks in bar
The Spa of Senses is a superb complex, whose treatments include body wraps, scrubs, massages, facials, manicures and pedicures. 
Made very welcome and well looked after considering the Covid-19 restrictions. Will certainly be on my list for our next trip. Flat course but a bit of walking between some greens to next tee. We can facilitate everything from society bookings to large shotgun start corporate events. Bit slow going round following other groups but overall very impressed.
Feedback | Had a lovely break and would recommend it. The weather was not too kind to us as it rained off and on when playing on Sunday but the sun shone on the Monday.
Been to Marriott Worsley Park Golf Club? An ironing set and heating are standard features in all accommodation. Played Worsley Park a few times now, always enjoy being there. my game needs to improve to do course justice.. Excellent accommodation, staff very helpful, especially in the pros shop.

Hotel was lovely, good bars/restaurant within. Quality rooms and common areas. Very VERY wet underfoot, but tees and greens were very good. Wouldnt play again in winter.

Make your own! We're looking forward to returning to play when the conditions are better. So all in all didnt really get to play as much golf as we wanted so came home Sunday afternoon disappointed.

Located on the outskirts of Manchester, the venue is perfectly placed to enjoy the sights of this lively city. All rights reserved. Over all superb. Half way house is bang on. Despite there having been a lot of rain prior to our playing on the Sunday,the course was in very good condition,off the Yellows,it played long but was a fair test for all our handicaps which ranged from 10-22.The greens were difficult to read and played particulary slow but that didn't deter from a very enjoyable weekend and we will certainly return in the future.

This is one of the more astute choices for a golf break, as Worsley Park Marriott Hotel & Country Club has not only superb facilities for golf, leisure and accommodation but also has superb access to both Manchester and the motorway network.
Surprisingly relaxed and not pressed to play fast which may be due to the Open being on. Found it difficult on day 1 but easier on day2.
We will certainly go again.

Pace of play was slow but that was due to slow groups in front of us not courses fault.
An unexpected error occurred. Designed by European Golf Design in association with Michael King, this Manchester golf course's picturesque grounds and challenging par of 71 are a delight for guests. Golfers can also take advantage of the driving range and putting facilities, perfect to hone your game before or after your round. Quite open so can open them shoulders on the par 5s. Set in 200 acres of land that was formerly the Duke of Bridgewaters private estate, the hotels 158 stylishly appointed bedrooms are spacious and have all the modern comforts and amenities that are required for a leisurely and productive stay, including satellite television, high-speed internet and more.
This is the perfect get-away hotel with an 18-hole golf course on site, as well as a luxurious day spa where guests can pamper themselves with massages and spa treatments.

Very slow 5 hour round on the Sunday painful behind a 4 ball who should no etiquette of letting a 2 ball through but that's society golf for you , Excellent condition perfect in every way credit to the green staff , Apart from the course being soaked.
Just one point though, because of the distance between the green and next tee we found it difficult to find the correct direction, perhaps better signage is needed to avoid confusion.
Location & features (courtyard/outside areas) superb. Usually in good nick, great mix of holes, water hazards to contend with and a couple of driveable par 4s too. The greens were a little slower than Ive experienced in the past at the Marriott but they still require a lot of skill due to the underrating slopes that are great fun to play on. Suitable for everyone from the seasoned professional to aspiring young players, the course offers a truly enjoyable challenge.
The course was immaculate fairways and greens beautifully cut could not fault it at all.

What let the course down was the wetness of the fairways and rough absolutely sodden, so much so spent ages looking for plugged balls.
The golf course has been laid out utilising the natural contours of the terrain and the indigenous water features, the greens and tees are all laid to USGA specifications, making it a truly enjoyable challenge. The course has wide fairways and large greens that allow the novice golfer to have an equal opportunity, however the long nature of the course will favour the longer hitters amongst you.

The course is reasonably hard in that there is a lot of walking from green to the next tee, and some par 4 holes were real testers from a distance point of view. The course is a challenge for the average player. Great course, set up was perfect for my 16hcp.
Hotel and course perfect, however restaurant options were limited. the staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was also very good. Stop by Cast Iron Bar & Grill for some simple, proper and tasty food done right.

Because of the rain we have had lately the course was very wet and boggy especially on Sunday after all the overnight rain we had. Golf course in great condition. Second round was slow, mainly because we were a two ball behind a four ball x. Faultless.

All in good condition despite some of the recent weather. With the rain we have had the course played great. The lower scores in a couple of areas was solely due to the extremely wet conditions. Younger guests can let off steam in the children's playground. Cants fault the course or staff, we just had bad luck with the weather, made the few groups ahead slow down so was kept waiting.

It suited our wide range of playing abilities perfectly, with plenty of space for the lesser players but still testing for the better ones. Those arriving by car may leave their vehicles in the hotel car park (fees apply). Members can book tee times online, keep up to date with everything that is happening in the club via their own Members Website and use the Marriott Golf App to make each round count.As well as golf, members can make themselves at home with on site dining experiences and excellent leisure facilities including a fully equipped gym and pool as well as relaxing treatments in our Spa. The natural undulations, trees and water make for particularly tricky obstacles, and there is no doubt that course management and strategy are the most valuable qualities for those seeking to compile a good score. Having said that we never received our 200 to spend in resort, we were given vouchers for 20% off at the bar instead.

Thoroughly enjoyed it, Enjoyed the course, first round was at our own pace and really enjoyable. No change fees. It was good except for second cut which was to wet and long (due to heavy rain the day before) as a result we lost a few balls! Very satisfied with hotel. I will be going back.
